In July, pupils from Garvestone Primary School were welcomed to Northgate High School by Mr MacDonald. Here’s what they had to say about their visit:
‘Class 1 had a fantastic morning at the Northgate ELF. A BIG thank you Mr MacDonald for organising and running our visit during his busy Year 10 work experience week, which he runs.
We learnt a lot of different things: about animals (goats, pigs, rabbits, songbirds to name a few), World War 1 trenches, WW2 Anderson Shelters and plants including potatoes.
The ELF is a fantastic outdoor learning resource, thank you Northgate High School (part of Unity Education Trust) for sharing this with us.’
